Getting Started

Welcome to Option Drops

Everything you need to navigate the server, use the tools, and follow the full member process without guessing where to begin.

Your daily member path
Prepare → trade → review
The docs are the reference library. This is the workflow most members should follow every market day.
Before the open
1Read the watchlist and understand the if/then scenarios.
2Load OD Key Levels Pro and mark nearby levels.
3Check the market calendar and announcements.
At the open
1Join live voice chat and listen to the levels develop.
2Use the bot for charts, GEX, contracts, alerts, and research.
3Keep trade posts useful: chart, thesis, invalidation, and risk.
After the close
1Review Recaps & Analysis and compare the plan to the session.
2Journal the trade in Discord or TradeDeck while it is fresh.
3Study one lesson connected to the setup or mistake.

Your First Day in Option Drops

Complete these in order. Each step points to the full guide when you need more detail.

This is the setup path, not a replacement for every guide. Get the basics working first, then use the rest of the docs as a reference.
01

Connect your membership and Discord

Open the platform used at checkout, connect the correct Discord account, and confirm that the Premiere Access channels appear. A Whop membership remains a Whop membership even when PayPal or another wallet was used to pay inside Whop.

Whop Orders
02

Learn the server areas that matter first

Know the Trading Hub, Trading Tools, and Banter areas. You mainly need the watchlist, live voice, questions, Recaps & Analysis, journal, and support center.

03

Install OD Key Levels Pro

Add the invite-only script to TradingView and test it on SPY or QQQ. The levels should match the prices discussed in the watchlist and voice chat.

04

Choose notifications instead of enabling everything

Enable announcements, watchlist, price alerts, and any creator zone you actively follow. Keep active chat rooms on mentions only. Set up SMS separately when included.

05

Follow the daily process once

Read the morning watchlist, load the levels, join voice at the open, and wait for confirmation. Do not begin by trying every command and every strategy at once.

06

Close the loop after the market

Read Recaps & Analysis, compare the original plan to the session, then log your own trade in Discord or TradeDeck.

Getting Started

Getting Access

How to sign up, connect Discord, and troubleshoot missing channels.

Signing Up

Go to optiondrops.com/pricing, choose a plan, and complete checkout. Follow the membership platform's prompts to connect Discord.

Connecting Discord Through Whop

Open your Option Drops membership.
Select the Discord connection option and authorize the correct Discord account.
Return to Discord and confirm the Premiere Access channels appear.
Payment method does not change the platform. A membership purchased in Whop remains managed in Whop even when you paid with PayPal, Cash App Pay, Google Pay, or a card.

Troubleshooting

Cannot see channels? Confirm the correct Discord account is connected, disconnect and reconnect it, then leave and rejoin the server if needed. Open a ticket in #support-center if the role still does not appear.
Daily Workflow

Daily Watchlist

Posted around 6:00 AM PT / 9:00 AM ET. This is the pre-market game plan, not a blind list of signals.

What It Includes

Futures analysis
ES, NQ, and other index context, overnight structure, trend, and nearby levels.
Key levels
Support, resistance, breakdown, reclaim, and reaction areas worth monitoring.
If/then scenarios
Plans for multiple outcomes so you can react to price instead of predicting it.
Annotated charts
Visual reference for the levels, ranges, trend lines, and structure discussed.

How to Read It

The watchlist is built around conditional logic. “If price reclaims this level, then watch the next resistance” is a plan. “The market must go up today” is a prediction. The goal is to prepare for what price may do without becoming attached to one outcome.

Example structure
If ES reclaims the marked resistance and holds above it, watch for continuation toward the next target. If it loses support and cannot reclaim, use the lower range as the next area of interest.

Daily Routine

Read the watchlist before the open.
Load OD Key Levels Pro so the same levels are visible on your chart.
Join voice chat to hear live context as price approaches them.
Wait for confirmation. A level tells you where to pay attention, not when to click buy.
Educational only. Always define risk and never trade money you cannot afford to lose.
Daily Workflow

Live Voice Chat

Join Tyler, Jordan, and the community as the market opens and the morning levels begin to develop.

How It Works

The main market-open voice room is typically active around 9:30 AM ET. The purpose is live education and context: what price is doing at the levels, what confirmation looks like, when conditions are becoming choppy, and how traders are managing risk.

How to Join

Open the Option Drops Discord server.
Find the Premiere / Full Access voice room under Trading Hub.
Join muted and confirm your audio works.
Use push-to-talk, avoid background noise, and wait for appropriate Q&A moments.
Cannot attend live? The watchlist, creator zones, setups, and Recaps & Analysis remain available for review.
Daily Workflow

Recaps & Analysis

The #recaps-and-analysis channel is the closing half of the Option Drops process: what happened, what mattered, and what changes for the next session.

The purpose

The morning watchlist gives you the plan. Recaps & Analysis shows how that plan played out after price, volume, news, and market structure developed. Use it to compare expectation with reality, not only to look at winners afterward.

The Review Loop

01 · PLAN
Start with the morning thesis
What were the levels, catalysts, and if/then scenarios?
02 · PRICE
Identify the actual reaction
Which levels held, failed, reclaimed, or became chop?
03 · DECISION
Separate setup from execution
A good setup can be traded poorly. A losing trade can still follow the plan.
04 · NEXT
Carry one lesson forward
Write the adjustment you will use in the next session.

What You Will Find

Daily market recaps
Index structure, major levels, leadership, and how the morning scenarios resolved.
Trade breakdowns
Entries, invalidation, targets, management decisions, and the reasoning behind the trade.
What did not work
Failed ideas, missed confirmation, poor timing, and market conditions that reduced setup quality.
Carry-forward notes
Levels, themes, and lessons that remain relevant for the next session.

How to Use It

Reopen the morning watchlist first.
Compare the original if/then scenarios with the actual market path.
Find one decision that matched your trading and one that did not.
Write a one-sentence lesson in your Discord journal or TradeDeck.
Do not turn recaps into hindsight signals. The goal is better preparation, confirmation, sizing, and management on the next trade.
Daily Workflow

Journaling & TradeDeck

A journal turns market commentary into your own data. Use #journal for accountability and TradeDeck when it is included in your membership.

TradeDeck availability depends on your membership. Members with access should use it as the main analytics journal. Everyone can still use the Discord journal to document plans, screenshots, execution, and lessons.

What to Record on Every Trade

SETUP
Ticker, direction, timeframe, and setup name.
CONTEXT
Market trend, catalyst, sector strength, and nearby level.
PLAN
Entry trigger, invalidation, stop, targets, size, and maximum risk.
EXECUTION
Actual entry, exit, scale-outs, and management changes.
SCREENSHOTS
Before-entry and after-exit charts with levels and timeframe visible.
LESSON
One thing to repeat and one thing to change.

Discord Journal vs. TradeDeck

Community accountability
Use #journal
Best for posting plans, screenshots, daily reflection, and progress where the community can help keep you accountable.
Analytics and patterns
Use TradeDeck
Best for tagging setups, tracking expectancy, reviewing rule violations, and identifying the conditions where you perform best.

Five-Minute End-of-Day Review

Open Recaps & Analysis and compare the session with the morning plan.
Log every trade, including scratches and rule-breaking trades.
Tag setups and market conditions consistently.
Score process separately from P&L.
Choose one clear adjustment for the next session.
Open TradeDeck
Do not journal only your winners. The trades you hide often explain the gap between your strategy and your actual results.
Daily Workflow

Text Alerts

Receive selected market updates and price notifications on your phone when the feature is included in your plan.

Setting Up Text Alerts

Open your Option Drops membership page.
Find the Text Alerts section and enter an eligible US or Canadian number.
Complete any verification step shown.
Confirm that alerts are enabled for the categories you want.
US and Canada only. International members should use Discord mobile notifications.

What You Will Receive

Messages may include important level breaks, major market changes, and time-sensitive updates. Volume varies with market activity.

Weekly Workflow

Weekly Newsletter

Sent Sundays around 8:00 AM PT with market structure, key levels, stock spotlights, and the week's major events.

Major index analysis
ES, NQ, YM, and RTY structure, trends, and key levels.
Stock spotlights
Selected stocks with levels, context, and setup ideas.
Economic and earnings calendar
A quick view of scheduled events that may move the market.
Member Tools

OD Key Levels Pro

The support and resistance levels the Option Drops team watches, plotted directly on supported TradingView charts.

What it does

The indicator plots hand-selected support and resistance based on repeated reactions, supply and demand, market structure, and levels used in the daily Option Drops process. It provides context, not guaranteed trade signals.

Supported examples: AAPL, ADBE, AMD, AMZN, ARM, AVGO, BA, BLK, COIN, COST, CRM, DIA, DUOL, ES1!, GOOGL, HOOD, IWM, JPM, META, MSFT, MSTR, NFLX, NQ1!, NVDA, PLTR, QCOM, QQQ, RBLX, SHOP, SMH, SPY, TSLA, VXX, YM1! and others as updated.

Key Features

Color-flipping levels
Green levels are below price as support; red levels are above price as resistance. Colors update as price moves through them.
Break and retest detection
Retest and confirmation labels help identify when price revisits a broken level. These are awareness markers, not instructions to enter.
Trade planner
Reference targets, logical stop areas, and risk-to-reward information after qualifying retests.
Info panel
Nearest support and resistance, distance, session status, setup grade, and active reference information.
Auto swing detection
Recent swing highs and lows can be displayed as additional structure references.
Session tools
Current and prior day highs/lows, optional chop-zone shading, setup grading, and alert conditions.

How to Use It

Add the invite-only indicator to your chart.
Use the levels as a roadmap, then evaluate the actual reaction.
Use retest labels as awareness, not automatic entries.
Use the planner for reference and keep your own risk rules.
Read the info panel for nearby levels and session context.

How to Install

Open the indicator access area inside your membership, add the invite-only script to your TradingView account, then open TradingView and find it under Invite-Only Scripts.

The free TradingView plan works. A paid TradingView subscription is not required simply to run an invite-only script.

Settings Reference

Appearance
Price labels, thickness, line style, label size, and combining nearby levels into zones.
Break & Retest
Detection toggle, breakout confirmation candles, sensitivity, and optional volume filtering.

Account & Support

Frequently Asked Questions

Membership, safety, trading basics, tools, and technical help.

Membership & Billing

What is the difference between the plans?

Premiere Access plans provide the same core membership features unless the checkout explicitly says otherwise. The main difference is billing duration and total price.

How do I cancel?

Use the platform that holds the membership: Whop members use Whop Orders, direct Stripe members who joined after April 2023 use optiondrops.com/billing, legacy PayPal members cancel the automatic payment in PayPal, and Patreon members use Patreon settings.

I paid with PayPal inside Whop. Which portal do I use?

Whop Orders. PayPal was only the payment method; Whop still owns the membership and cancellation controls.

Is there a free trial?

A trial only applies when an active trial offer is shown on the official pricing page or checkout. If no trial appears, the standard paid plan applies.

Safety & Scam Awareness

I received a DM from Tyler or Jordan about copy trading. Is it real?

No. Option Drops will not DM you first asking for crypto, copy-trading deposits, wallet access, or access to another platform. Report impersonators in #scam-reports.

Using Option Drops

Where are the signals?

Option Drops is not built as a blind signals service. The product is the process: watchlists, levels, live context, education, recaps, journaling, tools, and community.

Where is the daily recap?

Open #recaps-and-analysis under Trading Hub and use the Recaps & Analysis guide in these docs.

Where should I journal?

Use #journal for community accountability. Use TradeDeck for analytics when it is included in your membership.

How do I use the bot?

Use #option-drops-bot, type /, and follow Discord autocomplete. The Bot Commands page explains the main categories.

Trading Basics

What is a call or put?

A call generally gains value when the underlying rises, while a put generally gains value when the underlying falls. Options pricing also depends on volatility, time, strike, liquidity, and other factors.

How do I read “AMZN 100p @ 1.5, SL 1”?

AMZN 100p — an AMZN put with a $100 strike.
@ 1.5 — an option price of $1.50, or $150 per standard contract.
SL 1 — a stated stop reference at an option price of $1.00.

What do common acronyms mean?

SL stop loss · TP take profit · DTL downtrend line · BRB break-and-retest bounce · HOD high of day · LOD low of day · BE breakeven

How does the PDT rule work?

The Pattern Day Trader rule generally applies to qualifying day trades in margin accounts. Cash accounts are not subject to the same margin-account PDT designation, but trades must use settled funds and avoid settlement violations. Futures follow different margin and broker rules. Check the current policy at your broker.

Brokers & Tools

What broker should I use?

The right broker depends on your products, order-routing needs, account type, fees, and experience. Common choices include thinkorswim by Charles Schwab, Lightspeed, TradeStation, Fidelity, and futures-specific platforms.

What indicators should I use?

OD Key Levels Pro provides the same core support and resistance roadmap used in the community. Keep the rest of the chart simple enough to read price.

What timeframe should I use?

Intraday traders often use a 5-minute chart with higher-timeframe context. Swing traders commonly start with daily or weekly structure, then use lower timeframes for entries. Always check more than one timeframe.

Market Knowledge

What are ES, NQ, YM, and RTY?

ES S&P 500 futures · NQ Nasdaq-100 futures · YM Dow futures · RTY Russell 2000 futures

Where are economic events and earnings?

Use #market-calendar. It is updated with scheduled economic releases, Fed events, earnings, and other catalysts.

Technical Issues

The bot is not responding.

Use commands inside #option-drops-bot, begin with /, and wait for autocomplete. Check announcements for outages.

Can I use OD Key Levels Pro on free TradingView?

Yes. The free plan can run invite-only scripts.
